Spanish Saffron
Sandeep and his wife Nalini traveled to La Mancha, Spain to source this. They met the farmers, watched the hand-harvesting, understood what made this region’s saffron different, the stigmas are dried by roasting over low heat rather than in the sun, which keeps more moisture, aroma and color intact. This is USDA Certified Organic with the La Mancha D.O.P. seal. That’s as good as saffron gets.
